Mass amounts of mellow

This weekend all I did was sleep, catch up on schoolwork, go to work Saturday morning, order my sisters around, and go to fire family dinner. Where I laid on the couch petting a cat until it made me cough because its fur was flying around my face.

There was no cooking, no cleaning, and no food shopping done by me. No bill-paying. No anything. I came home from work Saturday and didn't leave the house until tonight for dinner. Logged at least 20 hours of sleep. It's possible I'm all caught up now. I've decided there's no more being sick. Totally over it. There is too much going on.

Next Friday there's a really good party I want to go to. It's invite-only and Jackie had just convinced me that yes, I wanted to go when I got invited. Josh got reservations for Saturday night at some restaurant where I'll have to dress up. Plus there's something Sunday too, forgot what it is, but it's good.

You know you're still sick when you walk past a Burger King and consider going in to get some french fries. Luckily for my body, the traffic light changed and the wave of people pushed me along, away from the fries. By the time I got home, the craving had passed.

Now if you'll excuse me I have to go to sleep now. For years I have been trying to go to bed before midnight. Turns out all it took was getting deathly ill for a few weeks.

So glad to hear you're getting the sleep you need. Seriously, sometimes it just comes down to sleep, sleep and some more sleep after that.

But I'm also glad you have fun things planned. :)

I always believe that the body and mind heals through sleep. Glad you are getting what you need.
