Danielle told me Malaika told her that her mom wants to know whether or not she's coming on their trip. I want to say no. I'm so stressed out over this. Danielle is like totally ready to be furious with me. She told Alex she can sense I'm going to say no.
Craig said to think about if I'm about to act in Dani's best interest or my own, and if it's my own if that's fair. And if our positions were reversed would I want her to let me go. And if it's fair to make her stay because then she can be with Alex.
I want to cry. If Danielle goes, I will miss her so much it will hurt.

it's very easy for all of us to say "let her go", but i think craig has a point. however, there's no law that says you can't do anything for selfish reasons. if you think you can't stand her being gone, well, she can't go. but if you'll be at work or hanging around josh's dog-sitting house most of the time, would that really be the reason? it's just a christmas vacation. and she'll have the time of her life.
Maybe you girls just aren't ready for that. Because of everything you've been through, you have a stronger bond than your typical sisters would. Besides, while you're at work it would be best for Alex to have someone with her. Dani will be mad, understandably. And it's not fair to her. But you girls know all to well how unfair life really is. I'm sorry you're stuck having to make these decisions. :-(
