English

There's a head of the english department? I never heard of that. Whatever, tomorrow I will pay a visit to my old friend, the AP who helped me get out of my track three classes.

It isn't only fancy schools that have heads of departments. Most high schools -- or, if not, school systems -- have one teacher amongst all the teachers of a particular subject who is in charge in an administrative manner.

Talking to your helpful pal the assistant principal also sounds like a good idea.

That's incredibly ridiculous. It's apparent from your blog that you have a command of English. Some teachers are psychotic like that.

If your essays for that class are anything like some of your amazing essay-like posts on your blog, your teacher is the one with the problem. You write incredibly well! And very smartly, too. Perhaps you are doing something mechanically wrong or there is otherwise something your teacher wants from you in your assignments that you aren't doing, but if so it is your teacher's responsibility to help you to understand what that is, and even if so I can't imagine failing you time after time because even if some main thing is wrong or some little things are wrong here and there, writing that is so descriptive and moving and flowing and voiced and natural and not boring and is also so full of insight and social commentary and smart observations would be impossible to flat-out fail.
