The aftermath of my life after 9/11, when half my family died. How I am struggling to come back to the self my mother used to love and be proud of while still letting myself grow.

Every night
Aunt Elaine: what are you doing here? Me: I live here Her: Not for long
Why? Why would you feel the need to remind someone you're kicking them out after treating them like dirt for so many years?
Just remember it has nothing to do with you. She's a bitter and angry person and you and your sisters are only her most convenient target now. Grit your teeth and get through it.

Hi.
May I have your e-mel address?
Here's mine
tuna_butterfly@yahoo.ie
I'd be honoured.
Thanks.
Because she's an evil bitch. You've known that all along. Doesn't make it easier, though. Thinking good thoughts.
Ditto to Vinny's comment. Words really can't describe this person you call A. Elaine.

I think that's where you reply "Yes, and I am probably more happy about that than you are."
Perhaps you'd better wait until you're almost moved into a new place to say that. Tempting though!
I'm wondering if she ever though about how she would cope alone if anything happens to her. I mean, she's got health conditions and all, right?
