He is an obnoxious prick. Yes, maybe I am not all that sophisticated. True, I do not have a passport. But when I am a guest in somebody else's home I do not try to make the hosts feel badly about their lives. I would never encourage a host to do something that makes THEM uncomfortable in order to make ME more comfortable. I would try to blend into the routine of the hosts. If I couldn't, I would try to stay quiet if I was awake while they were sleeping, especially if I knew they had work and school that morning.
Andre, you are no longer allowed to talk to my sisters. You may notice Alex is not here - it's because I busted ass to arrange for her to sleep over at a friend's house. It's because I don't want her around you. Telling my underage sisters all about how uptight Americans are about nudity and encouraging them to wear less clothing is disgusting. Telling my underage sisters about nude beaches is completely inappropriate.
Also, when people are nice enough to welcome you into their home for a few days, it's pretty rude to keep hinting that you want to stay longer. Who comes to a foreign country without having a place to stay already worked out?
When I came home I found a note taped to the bathroom mirror from Josh saying "I am so sorry, we will talk," and a vase of flowers on the dresser. When we finally met up Josh pulled me aside and quickly whispered to me that Andre has changed a lot, he's horrified at what a prick he's turned into and his parents will be fine taking Danielle for the weekend. We pulled her into the bedroom and Josh asked her if she'd go. Danielle wanted me to come, and Josh convinced her that his loyalty was to me, not his friend who has turned into an arrogant asshole. So now Dani has gone to the movies with Laurie and will be playing tennis with John tomorrow morning.

Perhaps the reason that he didn't have a place to stay once he got in New York wasn't because his friend went on vacation, but because he was a prick. You and Josh should kick is ass out of the apartment immediately. You do not have any reason to be nice to him. You don't owe him anything. He certainly owes you.

You are SUCH a great sister. I really appreciate how you're protecting them. And I love that Josh picked up on it all and did something as well to make it better.

But if you and Josh agree that Andre is a major problem, so much so that your sisters cannot be there if he is, then what is keeping you from kicking him out?
