My vacation is over

It was seriously the best time of my life. Hotels are so fancy. And there were people who are like killing themselves trying to anticipate any little thing you might just think you need or want.

By the time we got home I felt like a puddle. You could have told me our house exploded and I would have just nodded and been like "Okay."

Unfortunately for Josh, his plan backfired. He thought this would like whet my appetite for vacations and inspire me to want to go on what he calls a "real" vacation. Poor Fancypants - his face totally fell when I mentioned that this has relaxed me enough for at least the next three years and I could be ready for another vacation when I graduate from college.

Right now I am NOT watching the new Kate Plus Eight, because that would be lame.

I totally hear you! When we did family vacations as kids, we'd camp or all cram into a cheap motel room (and sneak in the dog). NOT fancy. In the last couple years I've had to travel for work and it's been the first time staying in a super fancy hotel. I'm a bit flustered by the constant attention and all the extras.

Sounds like a wonderful weekend.

I think you should take Fancypants up on his vacation offer. Might as well enjoy it since he's spending his parents money on it (and they don't seem to mind). ;-)
