Josh left last night to go to Miami with friends, using Veteran's Day as an excuse to have a four-day weekend. This means he'll be eating donuts for breakfast, beer for lunch and steak for dinner. I wonder if I'm not a loving girlfriend because I like having these breaks from Josh.
Before he left Josh brought home two bunches of flowers - one yellow, one white. I divided them all up and put them all over the house. Every room smells like flowers now. We don't even have that many vases - I used glass jars for the most part.
Danielle is having a friend from school sleep over Saturday night. Alex is having three girls over tomorrow night. Tonight after dinner we went food shopping and my sisters spent a solid $30 on junk food. They probably won't be pleased to find out that I've already dug in to the ice cream.

I don't think enjoying time apart makes you a crappy girlfriend. Everyone has a comfort zone that it's nice to slip back into from time to time. You'll appreciate him when he comes home.
I think its perfectly healthy to have time apart and the crappy girlfriends are actually the ones that wont let their boyfriends out of there site!! I hope you have a great long weekend!!
Totally normal to enjoy time together and time apart.
