It puts the lotion in the basket

I've been using the same bottle of Ahava since the middle of high school, so it has lasted about four years. I don't know how long it takes other people to go through lotion but I feel like it's fast. This is what my mom used to wear and even though they changed the smell a little bit, it still makes me feel good to wear it and smell like her.

I kept the empty container that was really hers for an embarrassingly long time before I threw it out. Of course right after I did that I wished I hadn't, and even thought about going into the garbage room in the building we lived in with Aunt Elaine and trying to find it and get it back.

The other night my replacement Ahava was finally empty. It made me a little sad throwing it out even though it's not the one my mom ever touched. There is no reason to be sad about this. We have stuff of hers, and I even have a cloth napkin that I keep folded and tucked inside my pillowcase so I get to sleep with my mom every night. Josh and I were living together for over a year before he found out, and when he realized he said it kind of grossed him out to be having sex with something that reminds me of my mother being right on the bed. But when I pointed out we were having sex on bedding his parents bought us, Josh let it go.

I wrote out exactly which kind it is. Now Josh is getting me a new Ahava for Christmas.
