The aftermath of my life after 9/11, when half my family died. How I am struggling to come back to the self my mother used to love and be proud of while still letting myself grow.
Poor girl. I hope she finds it, or she gets a new one soon. Since it's a programme designed for kids this probably happens all the time and they will help her fix it fast.
She'll have to go to the American embassy or consulate to get a new one. They can usually do a new one fast--in a day or two--but it's really expensive. :(
i wouldnt worry about it until you have to - see if she can sort it out with the programme, as Chris said this probably happens often and its likely that she has just misplaced it...good luck
Fingers crossed that it turns up but I agree with the others that the program FOR SURE has a plan for this sort of thing. Hope it's not too expensive. She won't be stuck in Italy forever, no matter what she tells you. If she's at the point of losing important papers she must feel really comfortable over there!
How did that happen? Hope it wasn't stolen!
