Today I am dressed extra nice because after school I am going to ask Arnie if I can for sure work full time during the summer. If he lets me continue working Saturday mornings too, I'll definitely do it, but even if he says no Saturdays I'll still aim for full time weeks. He told me people always move when school is out so that should mean summers will be busy, so I'm hoping he'll still need me on weekend mornings.
Yesterday I talked to Laurie and asked if she thought people would still want tutoring over the summer. She said definitely - that even more people will, because they'll worry about their kids losing skills they learned in school. This is good. Even if for some reason Arnie decided I can't work full time hopefully I could do enough tutoring to make up that money.
Last night at tutoring a mother told me her daughter is going to her father's house in Greece for two months (they are divorced) and asked if I would be available to mother's help her over the summer. I told her I wasn't sure but would let her know by this weekend. If Arnie says he won't need me full time then I can tell her yes, and if he does want me to work then I can offer her Danielle. She is supposed to have twins at the end of May. I am scared she will go into labor while I am tutoring her daughter because she is that huge.
I have been stressing out for weeks about what will happen in the summer work-wise. Of course Josh is going on like fourteen exotic vacations and has still never worked a day in his life. Not that I'm jealous or anything.

You amaze me with your industriousness. Great thinking on the job front.
You're also much more noble than me, because I'M jealous of Josh. Sheesh.
With the Mother's Day deal: I totally hear you on that one. And I definitely hear you on not wanting to honor another Mom that day. It makes the reminder even more hurtful that you don't have your own.
LOL on "Not that I'm jealous or anything."
